The Family & Children's Services Care Card is on sale.
Purchase of the $50 cards means card holders will receive up to 20 percent off at more than 180 local stores and restaurants during the campaign, which runs from Oct. 31 through Nov. 8. The cards are on sale at most participating stores and at the F&CS Central Office, 650 S. Peoria Ave. All proceeds from the card purchase price benefit Family & Children's Services.
Care Card holders can use their cards during the designated shopping week at stores such as Bruce G. Weber Precious Jewels, Castleberry's Ethan Allen, J. Spencer Jewelry & Gifts, the Dolphin Fine Linens, S.R. Hughes, Trippets, John Daniel Footwear, Petty's, Kathleen's Kids, Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma, Miss Jackson's, the Perfect Touch and more.
Discounts are as follows:
10 percent off food at restaurants and stores
10 percent off art, antiques and furnishings
20 percent off all other merchandise
"This is a wonderful way to give back to the community while getting a little something in return," says Susan McCalman, F&CS director of development.
Care Card sponsors include Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Oklahoma, George Kaiser Family Foundation, Tulsa World and St. Francis Health System.
