What to do: Paws in the Park

Festivals aren't just for people. Paws in the Park celebrates four-legged family members everywhere from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday at RiverWalk Crossing in Jenks.

The day will feature a Pet Walk, costume and trick contests, dog agility demonstrations, paw painting, vendors of pet items, microchipping, pet adoption information and more.

Registration is $20 per person before Friday and $25 after. Proceeds benefit the Humane Society of Tulsa.

Haunted Castle Halloween Festival

The Castle in Muskogee has undergone its annual makeover of fun frights.

The Haunted Castle Halloween Festival runs 6-10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through the month of October at the Castle, 3400 Fern Mountain Road, in Muskogee. It will also be open on Oct. 29.

Attractions include the haunted hayride, the torture chamber, a maze, Casa Morte and Halloween Land (for children).

Park admission is free, but attractions start at $2. Ticket combos start at $15.

Pumpkin Festival at Shepherd's Cross

Families get a taste of a working farm during the Pumpkin Festival at Shepherd's Cross, 16792 E. 450 Road, in Claremore.

From 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursdays-Saturdays in October (except Oct. 31), the festival will have hayrides, fall games, story time, a petting zoo and tours of the learning museum. Activities take place in the Amish barn with plenty of pumpkins and gourds all around.

'As You Like It'

Clark Youth Theatre brings a Shakespeare classic to life.

"As You Like It" continues its run at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at Clark Theatre, 11440 E. Admiral Place.

The story of a young woman disguised as a boy and eluding her evil uncle in a mythic forest is comedy for all ages. Tickets are $6-$8.
