Got peppers?
They start coming in fast, before you can figure out what to do with them. The markets are loaded: jalapenos, Anaheims, poblanos.
You can roast or cook with them, but if you want the real heat, try some salsa.
Salsa contest winners were chosen for the recent Brookside Farmers Market competition.
Adult/traditional:
Michelle Sullivan's Sooner Salsa
Adult/non-traditional:
Ed Gatewood's Fresh Porter Peach Salsa
Children's/traditional:
Jack Allen's Best Salsa
Children's/non-traditional:
Connor Clary's Festive Salsa.
