Go Red with Saint Francis Health System

For the past three years, the physicians of the Heart Hospital at Saint Francis have changed the way heart care is delivered. Originally located at 91st Street and Highway 169, the physicians and staff of the Heart Hospital at Saint Francis created a safe and secure environment where state-of-the-art technology is blended with compassionate care.

Today, as the Heart Hospital moves to Saint Francis Hospital’s 61st Street and Yale campus, that same sense of innovation and teamwork will be expanded so that even more patients will have access to world-class care.

Eight new departments will serve northeast Oklahoma patients through one access. Entry to the Heart Hospital is located on the 61 Street side at the Northwest corner of Saint Francis Hospital, 6151 South Yale.

One door; to tests and procedures, for visiting heart patients, for patients who come back to follow up with their heart specialist or experience cardiac rehabilitation programs.

Now dedicated to heart care, 120 Beds. These private rooms have been reconditioned to allow space for families and heart care equipment including an all digital patient record to streamline the patient's care and needs.

Other features include:

  • Multiple cath labs including: biplane coronary, coronary and peripheral vascular, single plane coronary and dedicated peripheral vascular
  • Electrophysiology labs to perform device implants, mapping and ablation
  • Stress Testing, Ultrasound Rooms, Nuclear stress test imaging duplicated in two areas for patients in the hospital and patients just visiting for a test.
  • Cardiac CT scanning provides a reduction in the need for invasive diagnostic procedures
  • Cardiac Rehabilitation, expert guidance for those at high risk for, or recovering from, treatment for heart disease including telemetry monitored exercise, lifestyle education and counseling
  • Only Pediatric cardiology and Pediatric Cardiac Surgery program in northeast Oklahoma
  • More than 30 active adult and pediatric cardiologists and cardiothoracic surgeons with expertise in a full range of cardiovascular procedures
