Another former patient of Tulsa oral surgeon W. Scott Harrington has tested positive for HIV and three more have tested positive for hepatitis C, according to the Tulsa City-County Health Department.

The total number of positive HIV test results among former patients is four, with 77 testing positive for hepatitis C and five for hepatitis B. Free testing for former patients ends Friday. Harrington may have exposed at least 7,000 patients to the disease through poor infection control procedures and the use of unsanitary equipment. He voluntarily stopped practicing March 20.

As of 5 p.m. Wednesday the Oklahoma State Department of Health's public health laboratory had completed tests for 4,087 people.
