BROKEN ARROW - A "Thank You BBQ Celebration" will be held Saturday for supporters of the opposition effort against a local Indian casino.

The event will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. at Abiding Harvest United Methodist Church, 4407 S. Olive Ave.

U.S. Rep. John Sullivan, Broken Arrow Citizens Against Neighborhood Gaming and the church are hosting the family-oriented event, which will be a picnic setting with children's activities.

Water will be provided, but attendees can bring their own beverages as well as lawn chairs or blankets. No alcohol is permitted.

State and local elected officials are expected to attend.
