Girls Cross Country Athlete of the Week: Haley Geissler

After finishing second and third in her previous events, the sophomore triumphed in the 2-mile race at Collinsville by a margin of 14 seconds, leading Owasso to a team victory.

Boys Cross Country Athlete of the Week: Chris Staub

Two-time All-Stater finished with the top time at the TU Hurricane Cross Country Festival on Aug. 31, as his 10:14 paced runners in all four class races.

Won his second consecutive meet, dominating the Collinsville 5,000-meter race last Thursday by a full 28 seconds, helping his team win the boys team title.
