Piguet Nora Yvetta Rudd Piguet went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 14, 2013 from her home in Owasso, Oklahoma at the age of 86.

87 of Tulsa, left this earth Saturday, September 14, 2013.

David Scott Jones, passed away in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, on September 15, 2013, one day short of his 89th birthday. He was born in Cleveland, OH, on September 16, 1924 to David Henry and Ruth Mae Doty Jones. He graduated from East Technical High School in 1942 and served in the US Navy from 1943-1945. He married the late Rose Marie (Kramer) Jones and lived in Cleveland, Ohio until moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1949 to attend the Spartan Aeronautic School. After graduation, he served as an instructor for two years before going to work at Douglas Aircraft Company in 1952 where he worked for 30 years in the calibration lab. David believed he could best serve the Lord as a servant of people. He served 20 years as a Scoutmaster in the Boy Scouts of America, for four years with Troop #108 at Ball Memorial Methodist church, then with Troop #23 at St. John’s Methodist Church. He was in the Order of the Arrow and awarded the Silver Beaver. David was an active a member of the Seratoma Club from 1979 where he served on the Board and the Benevolent Order of the Elks for 30 years where he was several of- ficers, including Chaplin and Exalted Ruler from 1983-1984. He was very proud of being the donor of 16 gallons of blood to the American Red Cross throughout his lifetime. David had a lifelong passion for airplanes. In his spare time, he built model aircraft, drafted drawings of racing planes, and annually attended the Reno Air Races. After retirement, he and Rose Marie love to travel the country in their recreational vehicle, alone or with the Oklahoma Traveling Elks. David is survived by his daughter, Jacqueline Ann Kramer of Tulsa, OK and his son, David Scott Jones, II of Broken Arrow, OK. He is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his companion, Marie Theresa LaBrake; grandson, David Scott Jones, III, and great-grandson, Ryker Dane Teague. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in memory of David to the Tulsa Air & Space Museum. Viewing will be 10AM – 9PM, Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Moore’s Southlawn. Service will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Moore’s Southlawn Chapel. www.moorefuneral.com This obituary was published in the Tulsa World on 9/17/2013.
