The Tulsa World is looking for photographers to shoot all the action surrounding high school football games - the fans, the bands, the mascots, the cheerleaders and plays on the field. This will be in addition to the staff photographers we send to area games.

We covered 30 schools and had more than 900 photos to choose from when we created this gallery. See what we liked or see all the galleries from Week 2. If you like a photo, you can buy it.

Correction: A Friday Tulsa World story misspelled the last name of Broken Arrow kicker Riley Hathhorn. This story has been corrected.

Game of the night

Jenks (6A No. 1, 1-0) vs. Union (6A No. 2, 0-1): The MidFirst Bank Backyard Bowl at Chapman Stadium is usually the highest attended football game of the season in Tulsa. An estimated crowd of 15,000 attended last year's game. In 2011, the crowd was 17,374.

Numbers to know

536:

Passing yards through two games by Holland Hall's Jake Fox, who will face Lincoln Christian on Friday.

85:

Points allowed by Union in its past two games - a 41-10 loss to Jenks in last year's 6A semifinals and a 44-20 loss to DeSoto (Texas) last week.

17:

TDs produced by Wright Christian quarterback Logan Bowline in two games this season. He has scored 11 TDs, passed for six and also scored on a two-point conversion.

Players to watch

Coleby Evans (LB, Union): Senior has a history of making big plays in big games. Was the hero of the 2011 6A state title game with two takeaways in the fourth quarter, including the winning TD on a fumble return.

Cameron Gilbert (QB, Summit Christian): He produced five TDs, kicked six extra points and scored on a two-point run in last week's 50-7 victory over Haileyville. Gilbert, the readers' choice as the All-World quarterback, completed 9 of 14 passes for 183 yards and two TDs. He also rushed for 72 yards and three TDs. Summit faces Chouteau on Friday.

Riley Hathhorn (K, Broken Arrow): Sophomore made 3 of 4 field goals against Owasso in his varsity debut last week. Broken Arrow's game against Arkansas power Bentonville has the potential to be decided by a field goal.

Bishop Louie (WR-DB, McLain): Senior is one of the area's top receivers and kick returners. He scored on three punt returns last week and had a 52-yard TD reception. McLain looks for a 2-0 start when it visits Sperry on Friday.

Jeremy Smith (TE-DE, Berryhill): Look for a big game from the University of Tulsa commit as the Chiefs want a big bounce-back performance against Webster after a 44-19 loss last week to Glenpool.

Trent Taber (LB-FB, Jenks): Senior is a big-hitting defensive player who also is a prime-time performer and could make an impact on offense. He scored on a 1-yard TD run in a 27-23 victory against Euless (Texas) Trinity last week.
