Sexual abuse charges were filed Wednesday against a Glenpool woman who is accused of engaging in and recording a sex act with a 4-year-old girl in December.
Samantha Jo Bryant, 23, is charged in Tulsa County District Court with child sexual abuse and permitting child sexual abuse. She was arrested Friday and remains in the Tulsa Jail.
Prosecutors allege in court documents that Bryant performed a sex act on a 4-year-old child relative at a residence in the 13000 block of South Owasso Place while a man named Jonathan Adelta took photographs.
Adelta, 25, also is accused of performing a sex act on the girl as Bryant took video footage of it on her cellphone, according to an arrest report.
Bryant’s 3-year-old son also was in the home when the acts took place, police said. He has been placed in protective custody.
Adelta, whose last name is spelled Adleta on some documents, was arrested by the FBI and made an initial appearance in Tulsa federal court Friday on a complaint filed in federal court in Orlando, Fla. That charge accuses him of knowingly causing the interstate transportation of a minor with the intent to engage in sexual activity.
Federal authorities are investigating the production and dissemination of child pornography, and Assistant U.S. Attorney Matthew Cyran said Wednesday that charges against the two are possible in Tulsa federal court.
