Golf: NSU women third at own tournament

College Golf

Golf: Rogers State women placed fourth

Led by sophomore Kelsey Stuever's tie for 14th Tuesday, Rogers State's women's team placed fourth at the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic at Lincoln Park Golf Club in Oklahoma City.

Golf: Rogers State men place ninth

Rogers State's men's team placed ninth out of 16 teams at the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invitational at Tascosa Golf Club in Amarillo, Texas.

Northeastern State's women's team improved its team score by 17 strokes Tuesday and finished third in its 15th Annual NSU Women's Golf Classic at Cherokee Hills Golf Club. Arkansas Tech won by title by 10 strokes with a 609 total. East Central (674) was seventh.

NSU freshman Baylee Price tied for first place with a 6-over 146 total, thanks to a second-round 69 that was eight shots better than her first round and the low round of the tournament.
