Golf: ORU sticks in 12th

Scores across the board were higher on Monday, and the Oral Roberts men's team shot a 302 to remain in a tie for 12th with Illinois Wesleyan and Missouri State.

Soccer: ORU women top Arkansas State

Mary-Kate Halsmer put in her seventh career game-winner on Sunday to lift the Oral Roberts women's team to a 3-2 victory in overtime against Arkansas State at the Case Soccer Complex.

The Oral Roberts men's team improved 10 shots and moved from 15th into a tie for 12 after two rounds of the D.A. Weibring Intercollegiate, hosted by Illinois State. ORU shot 302-292 to tie with Northern Iowa, while Purdue and UALR are tied for the team lead at 579.

Scott Newell led the charge in the second round, firing a 68 to sit in a tie for third individually.
