Mitchell Wilbekin, rated by Scout.com as a three-star national point guard prospect, confirmed on Monday night his commitment to the University of Tulsa basketball program.

If not for Trey Watts (a three-game total of 220 yards), the Hurricane run game would be a complete no-show.

Logan McCracken led the University of Tulsa men's team to a fifth-place finish Tuesday in the Columbia Regional Preview at The Club of Old Hawthorne in Columbia, Mo.

McCracken placed fifth individually with a 4-under 212 total. Colton Staggs was 19th, Matt Mabrey and Mark Mumford tied for 33rd and Cody Kent was 62nd.

Host Missouri won the team title with an 852 total, five strokes better than Iowa State.
