OKLAHOMA CITY — Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity said residents who lost their homes during the May tornadoes or had their homes damaged by the storms may qualify for assistance from the agency.

Agency president and CEO Ann Felton Gilliland said the organization is ready to build up to 400 homes to replace those that were destroyed. She said there is also a home repair program available for those who are eligible.

And Gilliland said a rebuilt home for a tornado-affected family will also include a storm shelter.

Residents can learn if they are eligible by calling Central Oklahoma Habitat at (405) 232-4828 or apply online at www.cohfh.org .
