A recurrent favorite, Wal-Mart Stores Inc. once again ranks among top picks of investing professionals who like the retailer's focus on international expansion and growth of its smaller store formats.
Nestled into a new storefront, Urban Furnishings is adding its stamp of uniqueness to the creative collection of merchants popping up in the Kendall Whittier area.
Incredible Pizza Co. will jump into the indoor trampoline park business later this year.
The restaurant and entertainment center near 71st Street and Memorial Drive is adding a 6,000-square-foot space to hold Spring Town, a trampoline park with foam pits, wall trampolines, dodge ball and high-flying basketball.
The park is scheduled to open in November or December and will be connected to Incredible Pizza but run by a separate company, Spring Town. Construction has begun on the new building.
"We wanted to create an all-in-one fun spot in Tulsa with Spring Town being housed inside Incredible Pizza," said Incredible Pizza owner Rick Barsness in a statement.
Spring Town is the second trampoline park under construction in Tulsa. National chain Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park is building a 33,000-square-foot location just a mile away from Incredible Pizza at 8306 E. 61st St. That park is slated to open this fall, as well.
Sky Zone was once one of two trampoline parks being built in town along with a company called Area 51. But Sky Zone owner Don Dean bought the rights to Area 51 to temporarily become the only trampoline park under construction.
Spring Town is the first trampoline park partnership for Springfield, Mo.-based Incredible Pizza. The 96,000-square-foot Incredible Pizza building at 8314 East 71st St. already includes go-karts, mini-golf, laser tag, bumper cars and a huge collection of video arcade games.
It's the first trampoline park partnership for Incredible Pizza, which has eight locations in the United States and three in Mexico.
The Tulsa location will be share the dining facility with Incredible Pizza. But customers will be able to enter Spring Town or Incredible Pizza independently.
