A Kansas woman was killed in a single-vehicle wreck in Payne County Monday, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
Dead is Colleen L. Grant, 50, of Linn Valley, Kan., according to OHP.
Grant was driving a 1992 Toyota Corolla south on Interstate 35, just 13 miles west of Stillwater about 7:51 p.m. Monday when the vehicle abruptly departed the road to the right and crashed into an embankment, OHP said.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, OHP said.
Grant was only wearing a shoulder restraint, OHP said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, troopers said.
