Kevin Durant smoking sheds more light on his personality

In advance of its sixth season in Oklahoma City, the Thunder announced on Monday that it has switched to a new radio affiliate in Tulsa.
OKLAHOMA CITY - The best thing about watching young athletes mature off the playing surfaces is learning more about who they are as people at a time when they, in most cases, are still trying to figure out who they are themselves. And little by little, we continue to learn more about who Kevin Durant is away from the basketball court.
According to TMZ.com, Durant was out and about in Miami the other day, relaxing and enjoying his final two weeks before the start of the marathon NBA season. As part of his chosen downtime, Durant made his way into a hookah lounge.
If you don’t know what a hookah lounge is, it’s essentially an establishment where people can sit back and smoke flavored tobacco from a communal waterpipe that is placed at each table.
This is not the first time Durant has decided to unwind at a hookah lounge. He also was spotted in a hookah in Hong Kong last year. So apparently Durant smokes, at least on occasion. It’s one more thing we didn’t know about the Thunder’s star. It’s certainly not something that defines him, but it is something that is a part of his evolving personality that we wouldn’t otherwise know simply from listening to him talk basketball.
