The first trailer for "August: Osage County" offers us our first look inside the big house in rural Osage County where all the filming took place, in addition to all of the stars fussing and fighting.

Of course it offers plenty of Meryl Streep in her portrayal of Violet Weston, the savage, foul-mouthed matriarch from Tulsa native Tracy Letts' prize-winning play.

But there are also multiple looks at her co-stars: Julia Roberts, Ewan McGregor, Chris Cooper, Benedict Cumberbatch, Juliette Lewis, Abigail Breslin, Dermot Mulroney, Margo Martindale, Sam Shepard and Julianne Nicholson.

We also get visions of beautiful Oklahoma fall sunsets and images of downtown Pawhuska and downtown Barnsdall, where filming of various scenes took place with multiple cast members.

This is the first opportunity to see scenes from the play come to life on film, and at 2 minutes, 30 seconds, it's a generous view of what to expect in what will likely be the first of multiple trailers to come out before the film opens on Nov. 8.

The trailer also reminds that it is produced by George Clooney and Grant Heslov, the Oscar-winners for "Argo" a few months ago.

For those curious about the musical accompaniment, a latter portion of the trailer features the song "Man on Fire" by Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeroes ("I'm a man on fire, walking through your street, with one guitar, and two dancing feet...").
