Dallas at Kansas City
Noon Sunday
TV: KOKI-5/23
Radio: KTBZ am1430
Cowboys QB Tony Romo suffered bruised ribs in Week 1. But he was able to play with broken ribs in 2011, so the soreness should be manageable. Regardless, the Chiefs showed a rejuvenated pass rush against Jacksonville, and they'll be eager to get their licks in on Romo.
Need to know: Cowboys TE Jason Witten needs two catches to pass Shannon Sharpe (815) for second all time at the position.
Tennessee at Houston
Noon Sunday
The Titans, who manhandled Pittsburgh in Week 1, will have a far more difficult time matching up with the Texans. QB Jake Locker and RB Chris Johnson didn't put up flashy numbers despite the win. Texans WR Andre Johnson, 32, continues to show he's as good as ever. He's coming off his 18th career game of 10 or more receptions with at least 100 receiving yards. That's the most in NFL history.
Need to know: Johnson has averaged 89.3 yards a game in 10 career games vs. Houston.
Washington at Green Bay
Noon Sunday
Robert Griffin III insists he's 100 percent healthy, but he was not 100 percent comfortable in an erratic outing in the loss to Philadelphia. He was out of sync with his receivers, and his mechanics appeared off. RG3 and the Redskins offense will have to make huge strides in a short week of preparation to keep up with the Packers.
Need to know: Packers QB Aaron Rodgers has won 19 of his past 20 starts at home.
Minnesota at Chicago
Noon Sunday
The Bears are eager to get their pass rush going. They got to Bengals QB Andy Dalton once last weekend. DE Julius Peppers, 33, couldn't find his way onto the stat sheet despite playing 88 percent of the snaps. DT Henry Melton was largely ineffective in his first outing since suffering a concussion in the preseason. For the Vikings, getting RB Adrian Peterson going is a must. After a 78-yard TD run on his first touch of the season, he was held to 15 yards on 17 carries against the Lions.
St. Louis at Atlanta
Noon Sunday
Atlanta faltered in the second half (sound familiar?) in dropping its season opener to New Orleans. An 0-2 start would sound the alarms for a team that still has games against five fellow division winners from 2012. The Rams, who led the league in sacks last season and notched four in Week 1, could feast on the Falcons' depleted offensive line. RB Steven Jackson faces his old team for the first time.
Need to know: New Rams TE Jared Cook had 141 receiving yards and two TDs in Week 1.
San Diego at Philadelphia
Noon Sunday
The Chargers fell apart in the second half, surrendering a 21-point lead when the Texans upped their offensive tempo in Week 1. Now they have to adjust to the Eagles' even faster-paced offense. And they have to do it on a short week of preparation. The Eagles took their foot off the pedal with a big lead in their win vs. the Redskins, but the bottom line is they didn't score during the last 27 minutes of the game.
Miami at Indianapolis
Noon Sunday
Dolphins offense was disappointing in Week 1 vs. the Browns, but the defense stood tall. Second-year QB Ryan Tannehill, however, managed the game with poise. Far less impressive was the running game, which produced 20 yards on 23 carries from RBs Daniel Thomas and Lamar Miller. Colts QB Andrew Luck engineered another fourth-quarter comeback in beating the Raiders, but he took four sacks. Indy's offensive line needs to step it up vs. the Dolphins pass rush.
Cleveland at Baltimore
Noon Sunday
TV: KOTV-6
Defending Super Bowl champs are coming off an embarrassing 22-point loss to the Broncos. Facing QB Brandon Weeden and the Browns at home should be a far easier test for their defense. Weeden took six sacks last weekend. Part of the problem is the lack of a true deep threat needed to make Norv Turner's offense work.
Need to know: Ravens QB Joe Flacco is 10-0 against the Browns, and the team is 33-7 at home under John Harbaugh.
Carolina at Buffalo
Noon Sunday
Each team blew opportunities for big upsets in Week 1 by surrendering fourth-quarter leads. Expect Bills rookie QB EJ Manuel and Panthers QB Cam Newton to be more aggressive in looking for shots downfield. Manuel's longest completion was 19 yards last weekend. He posted 150 yards total, which was still more than Newton, who dinked-and-dunked his way to 125 yards through the air. Panthers C Ryan Kalil must have a strong game against Bills DT Marcell Dareu.
Detroit at Arizona
3:05 p.m. Sunday
Arizona QB Carson Palmer took four sacks and five hits, which contributed to his two crucial turnovers vs. the Rams in Week 1. The Lions, who feature a fearsome front four with Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley pushing the pocket from the middle, could have a field day against the Cardinals' soft offensive line. Lions QB Matthew Stafford would like to get WR Calvin Johnson going. He had four catches for 37 yards in Week 1.
Need to know: Fairley has 5 1/2 sacks in his past six games.
New Orleans at Tampa Bay
3:05 p.m. Sunday
Saints QB Drew Brees can partially blame himself when he looks across the field at the Bucs secondary and sees Pro Bowl additions in CB Darrelle Revis and S Dashon Goldson. Brees torched the Bucs for 942 yards and 10 TD passes with two interceptions as New Orleans swept Tampa Bay in 2012. The Bucs need more on the ground to help keep Brees on the sideline. RB Doug Martin managed 65 yards, averaging 2.7 an attempt in Week 1.
Jacksonville at Oakland
3:25 p.m. Sunday
Raiders QB Terrelle Pryor might not have to run for 100 yards since the Jaguars might not have either of their starting cornerbacks because of injuries. Meanwhile, Jaguars QB Chad Henne, replacing Blaine Gabbert (hand), has only two healthy receivers because of minor injuries to Cecil Shorts (groin) and Mike Brown (back). Both are expected to play, but TE Marcedes Lewis is likely out with a calf problem. The Jaguars failed to score an offensive point in their opener at Kansas City.
Denver at N.Y. Giants
3:25 p.m. Sunday
TV: KOTV-6
Both teams have taken early hits in the secondary. Broncos Pro Bowl cornerback Champ Bailey is out with an ankle sprain, and Giants corner Prince Amukamara is trying to shake off a Week 1 concussion. Being shorthanded will be a challenge for both since they each feature emerging threats.
Need to know: In their final three home games of 2012, the Giants averaged 44 points a game and Eli Manning threw for a total of 716 yards and 12 TDs.
San Francisco at Seattle
7:30 p.m. Sunday
TV: KJRH-9/2
They split last season, but the Seahawks blasted the Niners 42-13 in Week 16, the only time they faced QB Colin Kaepernick. He and Russell Wilson appeared to be in midseason form last weekend, but neither team got much from its ground game. With the Seahawks secondary fresh off stifling Panthers QB Cam Newton, the 49ers likely will need a lot more production from RB Frank Gore (44 yards in Week 1).
Pittsburgh at Cincinnati
7:40 p.m. Monday
TV: ESPN-25
Despite recent turnover, Pittsburgh's defense appears typically stout. That's moot if an offense that disintegrated after losing star C Maurkice Pouncey doesn't rebound. Like most teams, the Steelers have no answer for Bengals WR A.J. Green. If QB Andy Dalton (two interceptions in Week 1) protects the ball and gets a bit more support from his running backs, Cincinnati will be primed to notch a rare Monday night victory.
Pro Football (NFL)
An elusive rookie made all the difference by darting through the Steelers' defense.
The Dallas Cowboys followed a big win over the New York Giants in the opener with a worrisome loss on the road - just like last year.
