Super Bowl premium tickets double to $2,600: The NFL expects the most expensive tickets for the Super Bowl to be about $2,600 each for 9,000 premium seats for the Feb. 2 game at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
That's more than twice the $1,250 cost for similar tickets at last season's Super Bowl in New Orleans.
"We are looking to close the gap between the face value of the ticket and its true value as reflected on the secondary market," NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said Tuesday. He added that having the Super Bowl in the New York/New Jersey area "is also driving unprecedented demand and buzz."
The next tier of seats is expected to go for $1,500 compared to $950 in New Orleans. About 40 percent of general admission seats will be under $1,000, McCarthy said.
The capacity of MetLife Stadium is 82,000, but it will be trimmed by about 5,000 seats to make room for media, cameras and security. The priciest seats will have access to indoor restaurants, where fans can warm up during the outdoor game.
Steelers open to all options after 0-2 start: The offense can't hold on to the ball. The defense can't take it away. The receivers can't get open. The running backs can't find any holes and the linebackers can't cause any chaos.
Other than that, the first two weeks have been just fine for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Pittsburgh is 0-2 for the first time in 11 years following a 20-10 loss at Cincinnati on Monday, another largely lifeless performance that did little to hint at better days ahead with unbeaten Chicago (2-0) visiting on Sunday.
"Right now, we've got to keep playing," free safety Ryan Clark said. "We can't panic and abandon what we have learned. We do have to shore some things up. We do have to be a lot more sound. If we don't, this is going to keep happening."
The Steelers are 31st in the NFL in points (19), yards rushing (37.5 per game) and yards per carry (2.4). Felix Jones took his chance at the ever-turning carousel at running back and managed 37 yards on 10 carries, all of it coming in the first half.

Browns third-string quarterback Brian Hoyer will start Sunday against Minnesota in place of Brandon Weeden, who sprained his right thumb last week.
