OSU police issue warning after second attack near student housing

STILLWATER -- Oklahoma State University police issued a warning Tuesday after an assault and battery was reported in an area near where an earlier robbery attempt had been reported.
The OSU Police Department was told Tuesday that the second assault occurred about 4 a.m. Sept. 7 in the area of the Morrison Apartments, which are student housing.
The assailant's description matched the one police had been given after an attempted robbery occurred along McElroy Road on Sept. 5.
The suspect is described as a black or light-complected multiracial man, about 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet 2 inches tall, between 160 and 200 pounds, with a muscular build.
He was wearing a dark -colored jacket, blue jeans, gloves and a ski mask.
