OU's Blake Bell named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week

NORMAN – Blake Bell,
fresh off the biggest passing performance of any first-time starting
quarterback in Oklahoma history, was
named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week Monday.
Bell went 27-of-37 for
413 yards and 4 touchdowns in OU's 51-20 victory over Tulsa Saturday. The 413
yards eclipsed Sam Bradford's old first-time standard of 363 against North Texas in 2007.
Bell added 24 yards
rushing to give him 437 yards of offense, the ninth-highest total in Sooners
history.
