The Tulsa Oilers will play a preseason game against the Wichita Thunder at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12 at the Wichita Ice Center.

The Tulsa Oilers signed five players - defenders Andy Willigar and Andrew Himelson and forwards Neilsson Arcibal, Kyle Leahy, and Brett Skalski.

Highlight: With 10 seconds left in the second period, Jared Brown edged the puck past Oilers goalie Shane Madolora for a 3-2 lead, Rapid City's first of the game. Less than a minute into the third, Jesse Schultz slid a shot through Madolora for a two-goal Rush cushion.

Keys: Tulsa surrendered four unanswered goals over the final 30 minutes of play.

Notes: The Oilers went 1-2 in a three game set in Rapid City. ... Gordon Bell opened the scoring for the Oilers in the first period with his first goal since the 2010-11 season.
