The Tulsa Oilers will play a preseason game against the Wichita Thunder at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12 at the Wichita Ice Center.

Hockey: Oilers add five

The Tulsa Oilers signed five players - defenders Andy Willigar and Andrew Himelson and forwards Neilsson Arcibal, Kyle Leahy, and Brett Skalski.

Highlight: The Tulsa Oilers kept their unbeaten streak alive against the Rapid City Rush with a 4-2 victory in Central Hockey League action on Friday night in Rapid City, S.D.

Keys: Michel Beausoleil scored two goals for the Oilers, and Shane Madolora turned aside 37 shots as Tulsa improved to 3-0 against the Rush.

Rapid City's Jordan Behler led off the scoring in the first period, but Tulsa surged ahead with three goals in the second.

Notes: Tulsa is 14-1-0 when leading after two periods. ... The Oilers improved to 22-35-4. ... Beausoleil, a 12-year veteran, now has at least 20 goals in each of his last four seasons. ... Ryan Menei, a former member of the Rush, finished with a goal and an assist and now has points in nine of his last 10 games.
