The state Department of Agriculture reported the following prices for the week Wednesday at the Oklahoma City Stockyards:

Receipts this week: 5,598; last week: 5,186; year ago: 5,370; Monday's actual: 4,980.

Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers sold 3.00-5.00 higher. No trend available for steer and heifer calves due to limited supplies but a higher undertone noted. Quality mostly plain to average. Receipts this week totaled 79 percent over 600 lbs and 36 percent heifers. Slaughter cows 2.00 to 4.00 higher. Slaughter bulls steady to firm. Packer good to very good. Total of 337 cows and bulls sold with 60 percent going to packers.
