Two people were arrested early Monday by police after they reportedly were found hiding in a storm shelter with methamphetamine.
Samuel Borders and Anna Collins were booked into the Tulsa Jail, police said.
About 2 a.m., officers arrived at the 500 block of South 38th West Avenue in response to a burglary call at a vacant residence.
Borders and Collins were located by officers inside a storm shelter near the home, police said. Borders ran from the structure but was captured by police after a short foot chase. He was in possession of methamphetamine, police said.
Collins, who remained in the structure, surrendered to police without incident.
Borders, 32, of Mannford was being held on complaints of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing an officer.
Collins, 33, of Tulsa, was jailed on an outstanding felony warrant.
