Health Department confirms patient contracted hepatitis C from Tulsa dentist office

An investigation into a Tulsa dentist has revealed that one person contracted hepatitis C as a direct result of a visit to that practice, according to the Oklahoma State Department of Health and Tulsa Health Department.

Baby Veronica case: Parents return to court for third day

Baby Veronica's two sets of parents returned at 9 a.m. Wednesday and left at 11:30. It's not clear whether the proceedings were over.

An early morning power outage left 3,500 Tulsa residents temporarily without service.

AEP-PSO spokesman Stan Whiteford said a transformer failure at the Dawson substation about 3:40 a.m. Wednesday that caused a feeder line to malfunction.

Crews were able to restore service just before 6 a.m.
