CLAREMORE — A physician’s assistant charged with second-degree murder in the deaths of two residents of the Claremore Veterans Center will have a preliminary hearing Nov. 5.
Kenneth A. Adams is accused in a multicounty grand jury indictment unsealed in June of neglecting his medical duties and not caring for Jay Minter, 83, who was scalded in a whirlpool and later died.
He is also accused of arranging a sexual liaison instead of caring for Louis Arterberry, 86, who had a stroke and later died.
Adams, who is free on bond, has been charged with two counts each of second-degree murder and caretaker neglect. He made an initial appearance in court June 9.
