Piguet Nora Yvetta Rudd Piguet went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 14, 2013 from her home in Owasso, Oklahoma at the age of 86.

86, of Garden Grove, CA passed away on September 2, 2013 at the VA Hospital in Long Beach, CA. He was born on June 24, 1927 in Tulsa, OK. He served in the Navy as a Fireman, First Class, during WWII, earning the Victory Medal, the American Campaign Medal, and the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal. He made his living as a pilot, geologist, plastics engineer, and quality control manager. His hobbies included model airplane flying and design, singing, painting, golfing, jogging, and volunteering at local hospitals. He played as an extra in the movies “The Robe”, “The Greatest Story Ever Told”, “Ben Hur” and “Shane”. He is survived by: children and step-children, Vikki Prudden of Utah, Aldora Thackeray (Glenn) of California, Val Jene Howard (Imelda) of Texas, Harlan Young “Chip” Stephens of Louisiana, Sonya Rodriguez (Ernest) of Texas; four children from a previous marriage; 13 grandchildren; 27 greatgrandchildren; and very special friend, Anne Flemming of California. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Herman Young and Willmina “Wid” Stephens; twin brothers, Herman and Herschel Stephens; sisters, Inez McNabb and Marion Minugh; and one granddaughter, Faith Thackeray. Military service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery in California, Staging Area #3, on Friday, September 13, 2013 at 9:30 a.m.
