Basketball Australia manager Tamara Sheppard was in town to meet with Shock officials Thursday and discuss the responsibilities of Australian national players in international competition the next three years.

Tulsa Shock center Elizabeth Cambage will be out for the remainder of the 2013 season with a sprained left ankle, the team announced Wednesday.

Cambage injured her ankle during the team's 90-88 loss to Los Angeles on Aug. 25 and hasn't played since.

The team said in a press release that Cambage’s injury had not healed as expected. She will be returning to Australia on Wednesday to begin rehab.

Cambage averaged 16.3 points and 8.3 rebounds in 20 games and won Western Conference player of the week twice in 2013.

The Shock, 10-20 on the season and in last place in the Western Conference, have four games remaining. Tulsa plays again Friday against Los Angeles at 7 p.m. at the BOK Center.
