The Shock’s patchwork lineup was no match for the visiting San Antonio Silver Stars at the BOK Center on Friday night.

Playing without 6-foot-8 Liz Cambage and rookie point guard Angel Goodrich, the Shock fell into a 14-point halftime hole and couldn’t catch up.

Jia Perkins scored 19 points, pacing the Stars to a 74-65 win before 5,452 spectators that officially ended Tulsa’s slim WNBA playoffs hopes.

Riquna Williams scored 18 points in her first start of the season and Glory Johnson had 16 points 12 rebounds to lead the Shock (9-20).

Skylar Diggins made her first start in 12 games and had 12 points to with seven assists and seven turnovers.

Tulsa (9-20) and fell 5-1/2 games behind fourth-place Seattle in the Western Conference. The Shock’s only hope of reaching the postseason was by winning its final six games while Seattle lost its final five.

The Shock plays host to the New York Liberty at 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
