'Pay What You Can' night
Heller Theatre, the city of Tulsa's adult theater program, has long had a reputation for producing quality work - its productions have won three Tulsa Awards for Theatre Excellence.
And while tickets for Heller shows are far from expensive, the company likes to give its audiences the chance to see what it does, regardless of price.
That's why every Tuesday night performance of a Heller show is "Pay What You Can" night, where those attending can pay as much or as little as they have to see live theater.
Currently, Heller is presenting the dark comedy "Show People," a play about theatre, deception, truth and love. Performances are 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sept. 22 at the Henthorne PAC, 4825 S. Quaker Ave.
And if you can't make the Tuesday night show, the regular ticket price at Heller is only $10. 918-746-5065.

She follows him, manages to get into the Harvard law program and proceeds to discover she's capable of more than merely landing a rich husband.
Performances are 8 p.m. Friday and Sept. 26-28, 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday, 2 p.m. Sept. 29, at the Tulsa PAC, 110 E. Third St. Tickets: 918-596-7111,
