Quarterback Blake Bell was asked to assess good things and bad things he did during his first start in last weekend's 51-20 victory over Tulsa.
With a three-round total of 7-under 857 the University of Oklahoma men's team won the season-opening GolfWeek Conference Challenge on Tuesday by four strokes over Virginia Tech.
Four Sooners placed in the top 13, led by Max McGreevy's fifth-place tie in his first collegiate tournament. The freshman shot a 1-under 71 in the final round at Spirit Hollow Golf Course in Burlington, Iowa.
