A Tulsa man was charged Thursday in connection with four armed robberies that occurred this spring in Tulsa.
Harold Douglas Watkins, 43, is charged in Tulsa County District Court with committing robberies on April 29 at the Cricket Wireless store at 6837 S. Peoria Ave., on May 8 at the Walmart at 2019 E. 81st St., on May 14 at the Sonic at 1007 W. 23rd St. and on June 4 at the Tinker Federal Credit Union at 702 S. Main St.
Watkins was arrested June 5, according to Tulsa Jail records. Officers claimed in his arrest report that evidence from the robberies was recovered from his home in the 100 block of East 35th Street.
Patricia Simer, 22, was also arrested that day, according to jail records. Simer, whose first name is spelled "Patrcia" in some records, was charged Thursday with participating in the Cricket and Sonic robberies.
Also Thursday, Patrick Daniel Wilcockson, 26, was charged with taking part in the Walmart, Sonic and credit union robberies. He was also arrested June 5.
Sara Grace Gibson, 21, was charged Thursday with playing a role in the Walmart and Sonic robberies. She was not listed on the Tulsa Jail roster Thursday night.
An employee at the Cricket store was forced to remove money from the cash register and safe at gunpoint and then was bound with duct tape and told to lie on the floor, police said previously.
Police said the Walmart "money center" in the store at 81st Street and Lewis Avenue was robbed of cash and that the Sonic was held up when two people forced their way inside as a carhop delivered their drink order.
The Tinker Federal Credit Union was robbed by a man armed with a handgun who demanded cash, police said. An employee complied, and the robber fled with an undisclosed amount of money, according to police.
