Marshall Brewing Co. is extending the season for its very popular Arrowhead Pale Ale.
The Tulsa beer maker had announced that it would soon stop production on the summer seasonal because of a limited supply of ingredients and to make way for the anniversary beer "5," which is already in short supply at stores.
But I guess when there is a demand - and the supply can be met - good things happen. Marshall was able to secure more Citra hops and will be brewing more Arrowhead.
"In the eleventh hour of Arrowhead Pale Ale brewing, our most popular seasonal beer has received the beer equivalency of a Hail Mary pass," Brewmaster Eric Marshall said in a press release.
"We are often asked about making Arrowhead Pale Ale year round, and in truth, it's something we consider. However, the limited availability of Citra often determines the length of the Arrowhead season. This year we will have an extended season."
Look for Arrowhead Pale Ale to continue to be available on draft and in six packs where craft beers are sold.
Next up for the craft beer company, that anniversary edition, which is a barrel-aged imperial red. It should be in stores this week.
The company's Oktoberfest lager is set for release in September.
