Tulsa-based Prairie Artisan Ales gets high marks from Beer Advocate magazine

Marshall Brewing Co. is extending the season for its very popular Arrowhead Pale Ale.
Tulsa's own Prairie Artisan Ales just had a beer named one of the top 100 new releases by Beer Advocate.
Prairie's The Bomb ranked fifth and is classified as an American Double or Imperial Stout by the site. It had a score of 99.
Tasters found notes of coffee, vanilla and dark chocolate in the brew that features local Nordaggios Coffee.
Brothers Chase and Colin Healey are behind the company, and hope to debut their new brewery on 49th West Avenue this year. They currently brew at Choc Beer Co. in Krebs.
