Man charged with kidnapping, burglary, named 'most wanted'

Prosecutors allege he held a woman inside a home against her will and struck her with a curtain rod, documents say.

A Tulsa man with three outstanding felony warrants is the Tulsa Police Department's "Most Wanted" fugitive.

Christopher D. Barrett, 26, has been charged in Tulsa County District Court with assault with a deadly weapon, larceny of merchandise from retailer and application to accelerate, court records show.

Barrett was most recently accused of stealing $500 in merchandise from the Game Stop at 7021 S. Memorial Drive on July 26, 2012.

He is described as black, 5 feet, 11 inches tall, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, police said.

Anyone with information about Barrett is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS (2677). Tips may also be submitted online at tulsaworld.com/crimestoppers or by sending Tip918 in a text message to CRIMES (274637).

Tipsters may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.
