OU Board of Regents to meet Wednesday

The Regents will consider architectural firms to provide construction of storm-hardened shelters in the housing area on the Norman campus.

Faculty from Vietnam visiting Oklahoma State

The group is the fourth delegation of visiting faculty from the university to visit OSU.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Tulsan Joseph "Jody" Parker has been reappointed by Gov. Mary Fallin to the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.

Parker has served the past seven years on the regents board, which sets higher education policy for the state's public colleges and universities. He is chairman of the board for Anchor Stone Co. in Tulsa, a company involved in the production of crushed limestone, sand and gravel and in heavy equipment brokerage.
