An 18-year-old man was hospitalized Sunday after he was cut with a knife during reported dispute.

The incident happened just after 9 p.m. Sunday at an apartment complex in the 6500 block of South Newport Avenue, police said.

Officer Jill Roberson said the 18-year-old was cut twice with a knife.

He was transported to an area hospital with wounds that were not considered life-threatening, police said.

Police said the victim is not cooperating with detectives in the investigation.
