Bill Sherman has been the Tulsa World religion writer for 13 years.
He has written more than 2,000 articles on religion, has been published in Christianity Today and other publications, and has discussed religious issues on NPR, Radio Free Russia, and local network and cable television shows. He consistently places among the top religion writers in the nation in the Religion Newswriters Association competitions, and is in the Oklahoma Journalism Hall of Fame.
He studied journalism at the University of Wisconsin, and later attended Bible school. He worked for newspapers in Albuquerque and Burlington (Wis.) before moving to Tulsa.
