I was assigned take photos and video a few days ago of a new addition to the Meercat exhibit, the first baby Meercat born there in 14 years, I always thought like many others that Meercats are one of the cutest and funniest animals, especially when standing on their back legs on the lookout for predators.
I personally would compare them to Prairie Dogs, and wonder how anyone could possibly consider them a pest, after all they are just trying to survive and raise their families like we do, how does that make them 'pests'
