While shooting the State 5A and 6A wrestling championships last Saturday, I caught an amusing moment when two wrestlers spilled off the mat almost hitting a photographer and an onlooker.
Us photographers are so used to turning in our usual action, celebration, and dejection shots, that it's refreshing to me when you capture something unusual.
The photograph I remember the best from the Tulsa World staff when the PGA golf tour was at Southern Hills a few years back, was when a squirrel ran across the green during a putt, a great shot, just goes to show the unusual is far more memorable in the long run.
