Shooting fires can be exciting but at the same time as photographers you have to step back and remember that the fire is affecting someones life in a tragic way. I just have to remind myself this is my job to report what I see but also to be respectful of the fire victims and most of all stay out of the way of the firefighters doing their jobs.
