My first basketball game of the season meant a drive to Stillwater on Wednesday, when OSU played Texas-San Antonio in a preseason tournament.
I had been shooting a lot of football recently, and the change of pace was nice. You might say football is like an endurance test and basketball is more of a sprint.
Football games last longer, of course, and I tend to move around the field as the teams approach the end zone. Factor in the heavy lenses and you get a decent workout.
With basketball, you grab a seat on the floor and stay there for most of the game. The action happens in split-second bursts that end almost before they begin.
These are just a few photos from the night's take. There will be more to come as football season ends and basketball becomes the topic of the day.
