I photographed Kristin Chenoweth's homecoming concert last night at the Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center and was impressed by some of the fans I met. Coming from Kansas, Australia and Nashville to see her perform. Many of them have met on Twitter and become friends. Heidi Ross and Dena Podrebarac met on Twitter because of Chenoweth. Ross was living in California and has since relocated to be near Podrebarac and the two are now partners living in Lawrence, Ks.
All of this was impressive, but even more impressive was to watch Chenoweth take the stage and be overcome with emotion. In the publicist controlled, image conscience world of celebrity coverage; it is rare to see such a candid moment.
