Austin Gready was like most elementary school children on the first day of school. Like most kids he had trouble waking up, and he felt like he didn't get enough sleep. He usually sleeps in a large home in Mannford, complete with a plasma screen television in his bedroom. Now, he will tell you that he is homeless. He lives in a motor home at Brush Creek recreation area campground.
He told his dad that he wanted to ride the bus on the first day of school. So, his dad took him to what was left of their burned down home and he took the bus from there. After I left and quit pointing a camera at him; I hope that Austin was able to concentrate on school and forget about the fire that took his home for a few hours.
