Residents in Moore, Ok. were told they would be allowed to get back to salvage what they could of their homes at 3:00 pm Wednesday. As I arrived at the intersection of Southwest 4th Street and Wilson Blvd. to wait with residents, one thing stuck out; the looks on their faces. All of them seemed tired, and emotionally drained. For some, this gave way to frustration.

As they re-entered their neighborhood and started going through what was left of their homes, the reactions varied greatly. Some found items and joy would erupt. For some, the magnitude of what they had lived through was just too much. As I walked back to the car to send photos and make deadline, I could hear shouts of joy from blocks away followed by silence.
