Youth Services of Tulsa's drop-in center is usually a loud place. I have been there several times recently and there is almost always commotion. Loud talking and kids being kids. It was no different as we entered a conference room recently, but as it was transformed into a yoga room with yoga mats spread out onto the floor the mood changed. For the first time I heard quiet in the building. Many of the kids don't hear quiet very often. Street Yoga gives them the opportunity for a little calm in their very chaotic lives.
