Shooting in confined spaces

By JAMES GIBBARD Staff Photographer on Jun 13, 2013, at 4:52 PM  Updated on 6/13 at 4:52 PM

I was sent to shoot a Mustang car collector last week, and upon my arrival it was obvious how avid a collector he was, sprawled all over his office were memorabilia, trophies, and miniatures.
That was before I was even introduced to his actual Mustang collection in the rear garage of his business.
Crammed into his garage were over a dozen mustangs, in some cases stacked on top of each other, the challenge for myself was trying to move around his impressive collection without scratching any of the pristine paintwork.
As with a lot of assignments I find placing my camera on the ground using a wide lens always makes for an interesting viewpoint especially when confined to such small spaces.
All this aside I will be sticking with my ever so reliable Honda Civic.
