Skeletons in the closet

Amy Elliott, Chief Administrative Officer at the state Medical Examiner's Office, shows the exam tables in the agency's main morgue. A hole is visible in the floor underneath the table.

Space is at a premium at the state Medical Examiner's Office.

The agency led the Tulsa World on a tour of their Oklahoma City headquarters on Thursday. A few things of note:

- Paperwork in boxes stacked shoulder-high
- A two-foot hole in the floor under an autopsy table
- A supply closet-turned-office where skeletal remain are analyzed

Keep in mind, this is a facility where police bring bodies for forensic analysis.
